How CSC helps families dealing with cancer
CSC of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky offers over 200 programs each month in a comfortable, home-like environment at
- CSC’s Lynn Stern Center in Blue Ash, as well as
- locations in Northern Kentucky (Edgewood, KY) and
- Eastgate.
All programs, including professionally-led support groups, educational workshops and healthy lifestyle classes, are designed to complement conventional medical care–and are available at no charge.

How did we become a best Cincinnati non-profit?
In 1994, a dozen women dreamed up Legacies, a store selling donated and consigned home furnishings to benefit The Wellness Community (now CSC). Located in a tiny shop off Hyde Park Square, Legacies quickly gained a reputation for reasonably-priced high-end merchandise benefiting a great cause.
In 2002, we moved to Hyde Park Plaza, and in 2009, to our present location with over 10,000 square feet of display area, plus increased storage and office space.
Every year, Legacies contributes over $100,000 to CSC. We maintain our commitment to selling high-quality furniture, home accessories and jewelry by encouraging donations and consignments.
When it comes to local non-profits, few do so well for people in need.
30 years later, still a wonderful place to hunt for treasure
In 2024, Legacies Upscale Resale is celebrating our 30th Anniversary! Shoppers love our amazing range of merchandise, great prices, and the beautiful sales floor vignettes arranged by our teams of volunteer decorators.
Friendly sales assistance is provided by over 100 volunteers. Free parking, plus the opportunity to support an important organization add up to a special shopping experience.
Customers compare our merchandise to high-end shops. But there are also some important differences between Legacies and chichi boutiques:
- We sell one-of-a-kind antique, vintage and contemporary items no one else offers.
- Our prices are friendly because we need to move merchandise quickly to make room for new items the next week!
- We are a superior Cincinnati non-profit whose donors, consignors, volunteers and shoppers work together to support CSC. Many of us have conquered cancer ourselves, or have had family members get a cancer diagnoses, and love giving back to others in the same situation.
