Shop Local, Help People Affected by Cancer

There are so many ways to help in Cincinnati—dozens of charities host annual, balls, golf tournaments, auctions and other events to raise money for our neighbors in need. But these activities are not always nearby or within everyone’s budget. A local place to make charitable donations in any amount at your convenience is Legacies Upscale Resale in Hyde Park Plaza (open Tuesday through Sunday). All our top-quality, gently-used furniture, jewelry, home accents and fashion are either donated or consigned, and at least half of every sale goes to Cancer Support Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (CSC). CSC offers over 200 programs each month at their headquarters in Blue Ash, OH, at their NKY office located within the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center in Edgewood, KY and within the Mercy Health Medical Center in Eastgate. Additional programs are offered at off-site outreach locations throughout the area. All programs – including professionally-led support groups, educational workshops and healthy lifestyle classes — are designed to complement conventional medical care and are provided at no charge.
