Legacies Upscale Resale is Cincinnati’s premiere shop for buying and selling gently-used items. When you consign or donate at Legacies, you help people affected by cancer and their families. Because at least half of each sale goes to Cancer Support Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (CSC), our consignors, donors and shoppers make charitable contributions with every second-hand treasure that comes through the shop!
Our Story
In 1994, a dozen women opened a store selling donated and consigned home furnishings to benefit The Wellness Community, which became CSC.
From a tiny shop off Hyde Park Square, we quickly gained a reputation for reasonably-priced, high-end merchandise benefiting a great cause.
In 2002, we moved to Hyde Park Plaza, and in 2009, to our present location with over 10,000 square feet of display space.
We love being able to give well-made, good-condition items a second life, while helping people cope with a difficult illness.
Legacies provides a way to help others through either a feel-good local charitable donation or an exciting shopping experience.

How Your Cincinnati Donations, Consignments and Purchases Help Others
Legacies contributes over $200,000 to CSC annually. Those monies come from
- Donated items (100% of our income when donations sell goes to CSC) and
- Consignments (We split the sale price 50/50 between consignors and CSC).
Our sales staff is mostly volunteer, so we have less overhead.

About Cancer Support Community
CSC offers over 200 programs each month in a comfortable, home-like environment at CSC’s Lynn Stern Center in Blue Ash, a Northern Kentucky facility located within the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center in Edgewood, KY, and an Eastgate location within the Mercy Health Medical Center.
Additional programs are offered at off-site outreach locations throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
All programs — including professionally-led support groups, educational workshops and healthy lifestyle classes — are designed to complement conventional medical care and are provided at no charge.
