What’s the best nonprofit in Cincinnati? One of the great ones is Legacies Upscale Resale in Hyde Park, where your contributions support people with cancer and their families. You can take items you don’t need any more to thrift stores, but if your furniture, clothing, art, jewelry, etc., are higher-end and in good condition, consider Legacies instead. We sell high-value donated and consigned items at close to market prices. Thrift stores charge less, so less goes to their charitable work. Our staff is all volunteer, so virtually all our profits go to Cancer Support Community (CSC), our beneficiary since both organizations were founded in 1994. Your donated wares get a second life, avoid the landfill and give people facing cancer tools for the journey. For three decades, we have gifted CSC over $100,000 each year through Legacies store sales. That’s over $3 million that has helped CSC help people addressing cancer.
